If you suspect your HVAC system is not working propertly please read the warning signs below. If you are in need of our services call 602-494-HVAC day or night!

Warning Signs

The following warning signs may indicate your HVAC unit has experienced a loss of productivity:

  • Dirty evaporator coils, condenser coils and filters can reduce the performance of your system, costing you more energy dollars and decreasing the life expectancy of the unit.

  • An improper charge to your refrigerant (Freon) can damage the compressor in your air conditioner, increasing your electric energy costs while reducing system efficiency and the overall life-span of your equipment.

  • Dirty blower components produce inadequate airflow resulting in system efficiency losses and increased operating costs.

  • Clogged condensation drains can cause water damage and affect indoor humidity levels.

Check It Out

Regular maintenance should be performed, we suggest two times a year (cooling season and heating season). Checks consist of:

  • Performing filter cleaning if re-usable filter, or changes if disposable filter (may need to clean/change more often depending on the filter and the environment units operate in).

  • Inspecting motor and blower bearings (when applicable) and blower bearings.

  • We check every working mechanism to ensure your unit is performing at full potential.

  • Cleaning condensation drainline and pan.

  • Checking thermostat accuracy.

  • Checking Amp draws of motor and system capacitors.

  • Cleaning of evaporator and condenser coils. (*FREE to Global Care Package Customers – maintenance contracts ONLY)

Bottom Line

Regular preventative maintenance is required for all a/c warranties. Providing regular HVAC system maintenance not only helps to ensure that equipment is operating correctly but it also serves to help maintain unit performance and system efficiency as well as prolong unit life expectancy.
